Group climbing events
We are more than happy to prepare a programme for groups - schools, work groups or sport clubs. If you are not entirely sure what a climbing event should look like, we will be glad to prepare a customized programme. Based on your requirements and budget, we will, together with our instructors, suggest, prepare and carry out a suitable programme.
The programme is conducted in English.
>> Teambuilding climbing events
Work groups can take part in one-time teambuilding events prepared to meet all your requirements and needs.
Usually, such an event lasts 3 to 4 hours, during which you will taste what climbing is all about. Participants belay each other under the watchful eyes of our professional instructors. That enhances mutual trust and facilitates natural icebreaking. The programme is suitable even for not very sporty individuals.
>> Employee benefits
Our courses and individual sessions are a popular item in employee benefits programmes. The specifics can be adjusted according to the employer’s requirements.
>> One-time events for children
If required, we can also organize one-time events or climbing competitions for school as well as preschool children. Such events are suitable for sports or children’s day programmes.
For private groups of keen climbers, we also offer organizing of birthday parties. It is a great opportunity how to try an exciting sport in a friendly, safe and professional environment. The courageous ones can try and improve themselves in bouldering - wall about 4 meters high, with a very soft mats on the ground and without need of a rope. There is also a small boulder placed just next to the outside wall.
As long as the weather it allows, the parties and sessions take place on the fresh air on our outside wall.. Moreover, you can train your muscles in the gym. For kids, there is a special boulder and a trampoline both placed outside.
The group session can be also organized to climb the rock in nature. The recommended areas are Srbsko by Beroun or Kamýk nad Vltavou, but it can be arranged also in other areas according to your preferences.
The parties are suitable for all age groups, even for children. There are typically two or three hours of climbing, but it can vary according to your preferences. There is always one instructor per four children. In case of your interest, please contact us for the price list.
>> Rock climbing

About us
Our climbing courses are suitable especially for beginners with no climbing experience so far. The course participants can safely try and experience the feeling of this unique and fantastic sport under the supervision of our instructors. Besides that, the courses are focused on those, who have already climbed in the past and now would like to refresh and improve skills.
The courses can be attended by individuals, groups or the whole families. The youngest ones should be at least 4 years old. For the kids, we organize also parties or birthday parties.
The wall where the courses are organized is located in Prague, Ruzyně. Depending on weather, it is possible to choose between outside or inside wall.
There is also boulder, gym and 10 meters long slackline for use. There is also another special boulder and a trampoline for those who are not members and for young climbers, both placed outside.
All of the courses and sessions are supervised by our professional certificated instructors with long-time experiences. Several hundreds of contented climbers have completed our courses since 2000.
Courses location
>> Indoor climbing courses
Out indoor courses take place at our climbing centre in Praha Ruzyně. According to the current weather conditions we climb on our indoor or outdoor climbing wall.
>> Outdoor climbing courses
Our outdoor courses usually take place in Srbsko near Beroun (former limestone quarry in Czech Karst) and in Kamýk nad Vltavou (Vltava granite region), which we also recommend and prefer as the most suitable sites.
Should your group insist on a different region (in case of a 1-day course or a different climbing programme), i.e. at your cottage or at a place your company conference is organized, we are able to prepare and carry out the programme there as well.
Gift vouchers
Any climbing course can be purchased in a voucher form.
It is very simple:
- Select a relevant climbing course.
- Pay the course fee.
- Receive the voucher.
The voucher holder will find all necessary information on the voucher, i.e. a type of course and contact details.
The course fee can be paid directly at Ruzyně Climbing Centre during opening hours (cash only) or transferred to our bank account. It that case you will receiver your voucher via mail. Voucher validity, i.e. the time period within which the indoor course or session is to take place, is 6 months commencing on the day of purchase. Vouchers for outdoor courses are valid for a year.
A voucher for a climbing course can be joined with a voucher for climbing equipment from our on-site shop.
Our instructors
All our courses and events are conducted under professional supervision of certified instructors with great climbing experience. Václav Malina, the head instructor, is the guarantor for individual courses.
There are further 10 qualified instructors to facilitate individual courses and events.
Václav Malina
 | Mountain Climbing Instructor, accredited by the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports CZ Václav has been active in rock climbing for 17 years now, climbing rock pitches of difficulty grade 10+ UIAA. During this time he gained a lot of experience in training sports climbing. In 2002, 2005 and 2007 Václav was named a representative for CZ in lead climbing. In 2005 he was winner of the Czech Cup series. Furthermore he is a professional climbing photographer. |
